I love pink roses, but I think almost, yep ALMOST...up there, near next to..I love pink ballerinas, especially vintage ones!
These two sweeties, I found them at a thrift store in PA, they were yellow and gold, mounted in the gold frames with a black velvet background, YUCKIE!!
The ballerinas hail from the 1960's and are ceramic, truly precious.
Oh what ALOT of pink and white paint, ribbon and pink paper roses can do!...
Now, I have to celebrate Christmas in July, and what better way than on Pink Saturday in July! Yet another pink ballerina, I made her into a flirty, flouncy and fabulous stocking...sweet pink satins too...
Last but not least, of course I have to include pink roses, wouldn't be Pink Saturday to me if I didn't. I JUST finished this "frankenstein" lamp yesterday. Why do I call it that you might ask...well, every part you see came from a different lamp...walllaahhhh "frankenstein" Lamp!" you know I would NEVER label it that in my shoppe, this is just a secret between me, my hubby and now you...shhhhhh! ( :
Have a fun filled weekend!
(((hugs)))
Karen
I adore what you did with the little ballerina pictures. The stocking is gorgeous., I'm also a blogerette society girl. Were going to be having so much fun in the future. Happy PS
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!!! All of your items are lovely! You did great work on them!! Cute about the name for the lamp. lol
ReplyDeleteHello!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
OMG!! You have shared with us some delightful pink goodies!!! I LOVE that lamp!!
I read your bio and you mentioned that you have a shop 15 min. outside of Cape May??? That is about a 4 hour drive from me! I spent my summer vacations and most of our adult ones too until recently in Wildwood! We would take a day trip to Cape May every year. I remember when all the "Painted Ladies" were falling down and then each year, more were restored. I think that si where I got my love for Victorianna because I grew up in new homes that my Dad built! I even wanted my Doll House , which was built for me only 2 years ago,to look like a Cape May Painted Lady. I am assuming that you live close to Cape May?????
Have a great day!!
Hugs,
Debbie
I love the lamp!! I bought a fun vintage lamp, with handpainted roses, just last week...for only $6. I actually used it in my pink Saturday post today.
ReplyDeleteYou did an amazing job with those ballerinas. They are beautiful!!! Will you use them to decorate your own home? Or will you put them in your shop?
